About Us
Root is a nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to help young adults create a pathway to independence through foodservice training and employment. Root offers hands-on training and life-skills development through Culinary Training and Alumni Employment Programs, in addition to award-winning social enterprises (Catering by Root and HarborPoint event space) and a Community Catering initiative.
